Hi kevin
moving to a small independent school like bolitho saved my teaching career! i'd had two years of hell in the medway towns and needed a big change, how lucky i found myself in penzance.
you'll love it (and hate it, obviously). having been a housemaster for two years early on in my time here i think i can honestly say it's a lot of fun but you'll come to appreciate and highly value your free time. The kids will be a different kettle as well. i found the parental side of things daunting but its quite the opposite. they can offer a lot of free trip potential too.
good luck in grimsby.

Hi Kevin,

Just wanted to let you know that unfortunately our department will be unable to attend the 1 day LEA conference. However, we are keen to stay involved and will be interested in attending any future meetings.

Many thanks
Kathryn

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for getting back so soon. Its both for career development as I am involved in G and T as a whole in school and for the Geography department. I would like to focus on classroom activities and enrichment activities. Anything that we can put into practice in the department. We haven't recieved anything just yet about the conference but I will let you know if we are going and if so, one of us can collect the information from you there if it is easier.

Thankyou so much for all your help. If there is anything you need, just let me know

Hi Kevin,

How are you? Thanks for the comment about Gifted and Talented on the geography Key stage 3 ning. I have only just had chance to read it. Have written a comment about it there but would really appreciate any material or information from the conference.
Thanks
Kathryn

Hi Kevin
Great to meet you last Tuesday in Peterborough. Hope you got back safely to Cumbria in good time.

Just looked at your excellent video of the 'Journey to Work' set to Bono- what a fantastic route to school. It has inspired me to use this with my Year 7 students and get them to replicate a similar type of thing.
Best Wishes
Graham
